Community Cinema Update

Unfortunately, we have taken the difficult decision not to proceed with the community buy-out of Baker Street Cinema. After months of work, the figures simply did not stack up, and we felt it would not be right to ask the community to invest under those circumstances.

We are hugely grateful for the support and enthusiasm shown by so many people. It has been inspiring to see how much the idea of community cinema means to Abergavenny.

 

While this chapter closes, we hope to explore alternative ways of bringing community cinema to the town in the future.
